Christmas festivities began today with an early Christmas lunch with the family. Christmas day will be spent with only my Dad and brother 1800 ft up a mountain somewhere in France, so it was nice to have a family Christmas gathering before we depart. Our summer Christmas lunches are always filled with Australian seafood and a few French delicacies. On the menu this year were prawns, oysters, salmon, delicious garlic butter escargo, lemon sorbet with vodka, champagne and French cheese.
