99 Red Baloons.

What a long awaited post!

I've been super busy the past week and it's only going to get worse.
University starts tomorrow, I havn't got my books or done any reading, my room (and car) is a mess, I have my 'exchange student application' interview next week, need to do an Innocence Project presentation on Wednesday, working all week... and then filming in Gidgegannup the following Monday for a grad student film... plus I'll have all my homework in between and perhaps.. just perhaps.. a little bit of a social life. However from past experience this doesn't seem likely.

You might be wondering what all of that has to do with the title of this post.
Well, I'm becoming increasingly excited about travels next year and that song makes me extra excited when I hear it for some reason. I cannot explain why. It just seems to put me at ease.

Friday night I met some lovely people from Germany, France, USA, Canada and England at the ECU exchange student welcome function. Ate some great food and eased some of my anxiety.

Saturday was spend with Regan, wondering around Northbridge eating gelato. I had the best long black coffee I have ever had in my life at the coffee shop behind the Plaza. You must go and try if you havn't yet.

You and I in a little toy shop.
Buy a bag of balloons with the money we've got.

Set them free at the break of dawn
'til one by one, they were gone.

Back at base, bugs in the software,
Flash the message, Something's out there.

Floating in the summer sky.
99 red balloons go by.

Oh, and before I forget.. I've foolishly added another responsibility to my plate. I'm in the process of opening my online vintage store! I'm undecided about whether I should go for ebay or etsy or maybe both ?
Still lotssss of work to do but it's getting there!
